Today we stopped by this irrigated field of corn. The farmer planted in late October and ran a drip irrigation system till the rains started in mid December. His plan is to be able to sell roasting ears (corn on the cob) before the farmers who planted at the normal time in mid to late December are ready. I think he is going to make it.
